Welcome Back to the CLS Daily SEL lessons! Due to your incredible feedback, we’ve decided to keep posting daily lessons, Monday through Friday until June 12. It is our hope that these continue to be helpful in giving children the needed skills to improve mental health and social-emotional skills.

Make a list of all the things that make you happy. Take 3 minutes to write their list.
On those days when you are not feeling so happy, take out the list and remember the good things in your life.

Learn what makes others happy by interviewing 10 people. What trends do you notice? Were they what you expected?
Oftentimes we learn of or hear about social injustice but we do not feel equipped to make a difference. The first step in becoming an advocate is to understand that we are all different and accept that difference is good!
Honest and courageous conversations are just the beginning of our work for social justice. When we develop safe spaces to have these conversations in schools, we work together to dismantle oppression. Let's get talking!
