Empowering Students: What Can I Do?

As a “kid”, it often feels like you’re being told what to do and you’re not allowed to make many decisions, but kids and young adults are actually capable of really big, great things.


Elementary Lesson

Instructions:

  2. Read the list of suggestions for volunteering, either on your own or with a family member or teacher.
     
  3. Have you ever done any of these volunteer activities? If so, what was the experience like for you? If not, which of these would you like to try?
     
  4. How do you feel when people are helpful with you? How do other people feel when you do kind things for them?
     
  5. What other things could you add to this list?
